10 The best hotel experience I’ve ever had in LA! This property is the real deal. They thought of every detail when designing Regent and I was blown away by every aspect of the hotel- rooms, service, food. The entry level room is so spacious (720 sq ft) and it felt very homey and luxurious. Fernando and Antonio were beyond helpful and always greeted us by name and with a smiling face. Some things that set this hotel in another league to other 5 star hotels in area: comp minibar, pet friendly/pet fee included in resort fee, bidet, dyson in rooms. LOVED this hotel!!!

10 We had a spectacular weekend getaway at The Regent Santa Monica! From the moment we stepped on the property we were warmly greeted and escorted to the front desk to check in. The check-in process was seamless and the cold towel and welcome drink were a thoughtful gesture. We stayed in a corner king room with ocean views and balcony. Not only was the room the most stunning hotel room I have ever stayed in but it was also incredibly functional. There were multiple seating areas, two balconies to fully take in the views of the ocean and the pier, and a vanity with perfect lighting that made it a breeze to get ready for the day. There are several amenity kits sprinkled throughout the room and even a Dyson hair dryer. We also spent some time at the pool, which had plenty of seating for all guests. The food was delicious and service was great. The Regent does an impeccable job of delivering a true five-star hotel experience. We can’t wait to return!
I LOVED this hotel. The views of the Santa Monica pier and ocean were amazing. It was very peaceful overall. The location is good with optional valet, street, or other garage parking. It is very walkable with many restaurants and shopping nearby.

10 We stayed at The Regent Santa Monica for a wedding weekend and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff went truly above and beyond to make our group feel welcomed and taken care of — their hospitality was unmatched. They even helped coordinate a beautiful morning yoga session on the lawn facing the beach, which was such a memorable touch for our group. The wedding-eve party was incredible, the food was delicious, and the ocean views were a solid 5/5 stars. An unforgettable stay — we can’t wait to return.

10 This is without a doubt the nicest hotel experience I've ever had. The staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. Everything from the check-in experience to the servers at the restaurant and bar are top notch. Even the basic king room is massive, clean, and extremely comfortable. I've gotten some of the best nights' sleep that I can remember. The location is great if you enjoy the touristy area of Santa Monica, but is also so steps from the beach. Waking up and immediately taking a walk on the beach is such a relaxing and refreshing thing to do. The touristy riffraff of Santa Monica is thankfully not inside the hotel. It is refined, detailed, and considerate. I will remember my stay here for years to come!

10 My husband and I got married in LA this past week and spent the rest of our stay here and wow what a breathtaking place with such attention to detail and stunning atmosphere. Everything is so luxurious and relaxing down to the color palette and decor. We entered our room to find champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to kick off our celebration. The service is entirely unmatched. Fernando and Ramon, and Frankie, along with the lady (whose name I am forgetting at the moment) at the front door are the kindest and most accommodating people I have ever met. Xiomara at check in and Rex at the bar were both so welcoming and genuine people we felt so lucky to cross paths with! The staff throughout our stay were amazing. We will most definitely be back and we will look for Regent hotels in our future stays in other areas as well. Thank you, from the Kales.

10 We stayed for Christmas at the Regent Santa Monica Beach with my wife and our two children (12 and 14 years old), and it was without any doubt the best five-star hotel experience we have ever had. The property is widely described as one of the most refined luxury hotels in Santa Monica, and this is immediately evident. The hotel is modern, elegant, and impeccably designed, with a strong focus on comfort, materials, and details. Its location is absolutely perfect: directly across from the beach, steps from the Santa Monica Pier, close to Santa Monica Place, Third Street Promenade, and with easy access to the main roads toward Los Angeles. Everything is within walking distance, yet the hotel still feels calm and exclusive. We stayed in a Two-Bedroom Suite with Patio, and it exceeded our expectations in every possible way. The suite was truly enormous, beautifully designed, and maintained with exceptional care. Every detail reflected a very high standard of luxury and comfort. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathrooms very large and elegant, and the living area was perfectly organized with both a sofa and coffee table as well as a dining table with additional seating, ideal even for having dinner in the room. There were two very large televisions, Dyson hair dryers in each bathroom, incredibly soft and beautiful bathrobes, personalized umbrellas, high-quality branded bags, and exceptionally plush bathroom mats. The suite featured two refrigerators, a full selection of glassware, and two coffee machines with pods that were constantly replenished by housekeeping. Room service was excellent: the room was spotless at all times, and everything was consistently restocked, including glasses, ice, water, sheets, and towels. Our dog was treated with the same level of care as the rest of the family: he received a high-quality dog bed and accessories, and even a small scarf with his name embroidered on it, a thoughtful and touching detail rarely seen even in luxury hotels. The slippers were exceptionally comfortable and soft, well above the usual standard of a five-star hotel. The suite had two private patios, both furnished with lounge seating, fire pits, and electric awnings, offering partial views of the beach and the Santa Monica Pier. One of the most impressive features was the direct access from the back level of the hotel straight onto the beach, which made the location feel even more special. Every day we also found small surprises in the room, such as two personalized photo frames designed to display a family photo taken under the hotel’s Christmas tree. These gestures made the stay feel truly personal. Valet service was always courteous and efficient (although quite expensive at $100 per night), and the entire staff, without exception, was extremely kind, professional, helpful, and always smiling. If I were to give a small suggestion, it would be to offer an additional dining option within the hotel. The on-site restaurant, Orla, is very refined and elegant, but not particularly suitable for children. On Christmas night at 9:00 pm we hoped to have dinner, but the restaurant was closed. That said, this did not affect our overall experience, which remained absolutely excellent. Unfortunately, due to the weather, it rained during our stay and we were unable to enjoy the pool or the outdoor areas where live music had been planned during the Christmas period. This was the only real disappointment, and it was entirely weather-related. Overall, the Regent Santa Monica Beach is an outstanding hotel in every aspect. Exceptional service, extraordinary rooms, a perfect location, and a level of attention to detail that is truly rare. It is the best five-star hotel we have ever stayed in. We will absolutely recommend it, and we will definitely return.
I stayed at The Regent in Santa Monica on a business trip, and the entire experience was flawless. From the moment I arrived, it felt like everyone on staff already knew my name. The level of personalized service was unbelievable, and every interaction exceeded all expectations. The hotel itself is stunning, but what really sets it apart is the people. Fernando, the lead doorman, deserves special recognition. He is genuinely one of the best in the business. His warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made every day easier and more enjoyable. Even though this was a solo work trip, I’m already planning to bring my family back. The Regent has earned a lifelong guest. Five stars all the way.
